As our Chat Agents Work From Home – E-Commerce & Digital Retail | No Experience Needed, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat). Typical conversation flows involve helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates, as well as assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Daily Workflows & Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as processing simple returns, store credits, and exchange requests via live chat.
• Accurately document customer notes and conversation outcomes in our centralized CRM portal.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat.
• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.
• Carefully review customer details and answering pre-purchase inquiries regarding inventory availability and seasonal discounts.

Requirements & Technical Equipment

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
• A quiet, distraction-free home office setup conducive to productive text messaging.
• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.
• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.
• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.

Compensation Package & Shifts

At Veloce Retail, we are committed to providing top-of-market hourly wages alongside sustainable work-life balance. Your compensation starts at $28.00 - $35.50 / hr with guaranteed weekly direct deposit every Friday morning.

• Scheduled hours: Nightly 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM EST (Includes +$3/hr Night Differential) with opportunities for voluntary overtime during peak volumes.
