As our Online Chat Agents Work From Home – Immediate Remote Hiring ($$31-$40/hr), you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (ServiceTitan Chat, Podium, and Intercom Web). Typical conversation flows involve intaking customer requests for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing appointments, as well as messaging technicians with work order details, gate codes, and homeowner instructions. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Daily Workflows & Responsibilities

• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using ServiceTitan Chat, Podium, and Intercom Web.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• Assist clients accurately with intaking customer requests for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing appointments.
• Address common account and service questions, including messaging technicians with work order details, gate codes, and homeowner instructions.
• Carefully review customer details and following up with homeowners after project completion to record service ratings.

Applicant Qualifications & Home Setup

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.
• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.
• Strong written English communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, warmth, and professionalism.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
