As our Home Services & Contractor Dispatch Specialist – Chat Job | Beginners Welcome, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (ServiceTitan Chat, Podium, and Intercom Web). Typical conversation flows involve intaking customer requests for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing appointments, as well as messaging technicians with work order details, gate codes, and homeowner instructions. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Core Daily Duties

• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• Address common account and service questions, including messaging technicians with work order details, gate codes, and homeowner instructions.
• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.
• Assist clients accurately with intaking customer requests for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing appointments.

What You Need to Succeed

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• A quiet, distraction-free home office setup conducive to productive text messaging.
• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• Strong active listening skills and the patience to de-escalate occasional frustrated customers.
• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
