As our Remote Chat Jobs Remote – Flexible Daylight Hours ($$26-$34/hr), you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat). Typical conversation flows involve helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates, as well as assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

What You Will Do Each Day

• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat.
• Carefully review customer details and answering pre-purchase inquiries regarding inventory availability and seasonal discounts.
• Accurately document customer notes and conversation outcomes in our centralized CRM portal.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.

What You Need to Succeed

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.
• Strong active listening skills and the patience to de-escalate occasional frustrated customers.
• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
