As our Consumer Tech & Smart Devices Advisor – Chat Jobs Remote | Beginners Welcome, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Gladly, Kustomer, and Zendesk Knowledge Base). Typical conversation flows involve walking customers through Wi-Fi pairing, firmware updates, and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as verifying serial numbers for 1-year limited warranty claims and replacement shipments. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients accurately with walking customers through Wi-Fi pairing, firmware updates, and Bluetooth connectivity.
• Accurately document customer notes and conversation outcomes in our centralized CRM portal.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as assisting users with companion smartphone app downloads and initial device configuration.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Gladly, Kustomer, and Zendesk Knowledge Base.

Candidate Profile & Skills

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with low latency.
• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.
• A quiet, distraction-free home office setup conducive to productive text messaging.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).

Pay Rates & Company Perks
