As our Remote Chat Representative Jobs – Flexible Daylight Hours ($$25-$32/hr), you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect). Typical conversation flows involve helping students access course modules, lecture recordings, and digital textbooks, as well as scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Daily Workflows & Responsibilities

• Carefully review customer details and resolving video lecture playback issues and certificate download requests.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect.
• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.
• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Collaborate with remote team peers via internal Slack channels to share best practices and updates.
• Address common account and service questions, including scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments.

What You Need to Succeed

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with low latency.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.
• Strong written English communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, warmth, and professionalism.

Pay Rates & Company Perks
