As our Chat Support Job – Flexible Hours | No Degree Required, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Helpshift, Discord Support Bots, and Freshdesk). Typical conversation flows involve troubleshooting video buffering, app connection issues, and audio playback glitches, as well as assisting users with family plan invites, device registration, and profile customization. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Core Daily Duties

• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• Carefully review customer details and moderating community chat channels to ensure compliance with community safety guidelines.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as helping gamers with virtual currency purchases, seasonal battle passes, and account linkings.
• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Accurately document customer notes and conversation outcomes in our centralized CRM portal.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.

What You Need to Succeed

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.
• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.
• Strong active listening skills and the patience to de-escalate occasional frustrated customers.
