As our E-Commerce & Digital Retail Agent – Email Chat Support Jobs | Beginners Welcome, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat). Typical conversation flows involve helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates, as well as assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as processing simple returns, store credits, and exchange requests via live chat.
• Assist clients accurately with helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates.
• Address common account and service questions, including assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.

Applicant Qualifications & Home Setup

• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.
• Strong written English communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, warmth, and professionalism.
• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.
• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.
