As our Remote Online Chat Agents Jobs – Night Shift & Overnight ($$28-$37/hr), you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect). Typical conversation flows involve helping students access course modules, lecture recordings, and digital textbooks, as well as scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Address common account and service questions, including scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as answering prospective student inquiries about tuition financing and curriculum duration.
• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Collaborate with remote team peers via internal Slack channels to share best practices and updates.

Applicant Qualifications & Home Setup

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.

Compensation, Schedule & Perks
