As our Remote Online Chat Jobs Remote – Flexible Daylight Hours ($$31-$40/hr), you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat). Typical conversation flows involve helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates, as well as assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

What You Will Do Each Day

• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as processing simple returns, store credits, and exchange requests via live chat.
• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.

Candidate Profile & Skills

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Strong written English communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, warmth, and professionalism.
• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.
• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with low latency.
