As our Web Chat Jobs – EdTech & Online Learning | No Experience Needed, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect). Typical conversation flows involve helping students access course modules, lecture recordings, and digital textbooks, as well as scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Daily Workflows & Responsibilities

• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.
• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect.
• Assist clients accurately with helping students access course modules, lecture recordings, and digital textbooks.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Carefully review customer details and resolving video lecture playback issues and certificate download requests.

Requirements & Technical Equipment

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.
• A quiet, distraction-free home office setup conducive to productive text messaging.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.

Compensation, Schedule & Perks
