As our Work From Home Chat Jobs (Part-Time Flexible) – Work From Home Opportunity, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect). Typical conversation flows involve helping students access course modules, lecture recordings, and digital textbooks, as well as scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Daily Workflows & Responsibilities

• Address common account and service questions, including scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments.
• Collaborate with remote team peers via internal Slack channels to share best practices and updates.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Monitor multiple simultaneous chat windows efficiently while maintaining high response quality.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect.
• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.

Requirements & Technical Equipment

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.
• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.

Salary, Hours & Benefits

Your hourly rate of $30.00 - $38.50 / hr is locked in from day one, including every hour of classroom training and live shadowing. We also offer performance bonuses, paid digital wellness days, and rapid advancement opportunities.

• 100% paid remote training from your very first hour, including live software walkthroughs.
• Scheduled hours: Flexible 15 – 25 Hours / Week (Pick 3 to 4 Days Weekly) with opportunities for voluntary overtime during peak volumes.
• Annual performance bonuses and milestone pay increases based on attendance and customer satisfaction scores.
• Equipment stipend or peripheral hardware subsidy after 60 days of continuous service.
• Guaranteed base pay of $30.00 - $38.50 / hr with weekly direct deposit every Friday.
