As our Remote Chat Job – Flexible Daylight Hours ($$28-$37/hr), you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat). Typical conversation flows involve helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates, as well as assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients accurately with helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as processing simple returns, store credits, and exchange requests via live chat.
• Engage with incoming customer inquiries via real-time text chat using Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat.
• Collaborate with remote team peers via internal Slack channels to share best practices and updates.

What You Need to Succeed

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with low latency.
• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Strong active listening skills and the patience to de-escalate occasional frustrated customers.
