As our Email Chat Support Jobs for Veloce Retail – Remote Support Role, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat). Typical conversation flows involve helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates, as well as assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

What You Will Do Each Day

• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Collaborate with remote team peers via internal Slack channels to share best practices and updates.
• Carefully review customer details and answering pre-purchase inquiries regarding inventory availability and seasonal discounts.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as processing simple returns, store credits, and exchange requests via live chat.
• Assist clients accurately with helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates.

Applicant Qualifications & Home Setup

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with low latency.
• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.
• Self-disciplined work ethic and the ability to maintain focus throughout scheduled remote shifts.

Compensation Package & Shifts

At Veloce Retail, we are committed to providing top-of-market hourly wages alongside sustainable work-life balance. Your compensation starts at $30.00 - $38.50 / hr with guaranteed weekly direct deposit every Friday morning.

• Scheduled hours: Monday – Friday (4:00 PM – 11:30 PM EST) with opportunities for voluntary overtime during peak volumes.
