As our E-Commerce & Digital Retail Associate – Online Chat Jobs Remote | Beginners Welcome, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Shopify Inbox, Gorgias, and Zendesk Chat). Typical conversation flows involve helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates, as well as assisting shoppers with sizing guides, product recommendations, and cart checkouts. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• Assist clients accurately with helping customers track pending shipments and expected delivery dates.
• Accurately document customer notes and conversation outcomes in our centralized CRM portal.
• De-escalate challenging customer inquiries by providing clear, constructive next steps and prompt resolutions.
• Process standard transactions and requests such as processing simple returns, store credits, and exchange requests via live chat.
• Carefully review customer details and answering pre-purchase inquiries regarding inventory availability and seasonal discounts.

Candidate Profile & Skills

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• Comfortable navigating dual-monitor setups or toggling between multiple browser windows.
• A quiet, distraction-free home office setup conducive to productive text messaging.
• Ability to type at least 35 to 45 words per minute with strong spelling and grammatical accuracy.
• Basic familiarity with web browsers, copy-paste shortcuts, and general online research.
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
