As our Chat Support Remote Jobs – EdTech & Online Learning | No Experience Needed, you will handle inbound questions through our centralized chat interface (Canvas LMS Chat, Zendesk Support, and Zoom Chat Connect). Typical conversation flows involve helping students access course modules, lecture recordings, and digital textbooks, as well as scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments. Because we prioritize customer clarity and speed, you will be equipped with customized shortcut macros, comprehensive internal knowledge bases, and direct access to team supervisors whenever questions require escalation.

What You Will Do Each Day

• Process standard transactions and requests such as answering prospective student inquiries about tuition financing and curriculum duration.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and helpful tone across every messaging interaction.
• Carefully review customer details and resolving video lecture playback issues and certificate download requests.
• Collaborate with remote team peers via internal Slack channels to share best practices and updates.
• Utilize pre-approved response macros while adding a personalized, empathetic touch to each conversation.
• Address common account and service questions, including scheduling 1-on-1 virtual mentoring sessions and grading review appointments.

Requirements & Technical Equipment

This position is specifically structured to be beginner-friendly. While previous customer service experience is appreciated, no prior experience or college degree is required to be considered. We provide all the specialized software training and mentorship you need to succeed.

• A reliable desktop or laptop computer running modern Windows 10/11 or macOS (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported).
• Willingness to learn proprietary chat platforms with an open, coachable attitude.
• Strong written English communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, warmth, and professionalism.
• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with low latency.
• A quiet, distraction-free home office setup conducive to productive text messaging.

Pay Rates & Company Perks

Your hourly rate of $28.00 - $35.50 / hr is locked in from day one, including every hour of classroom training and live shadowing. We also offer performance bonuses, paid digital wellness days, and rapid advancement opportunities.

• Scheduled hours: Friday – Sunday (10-Hour Shifts with Paid Lunch & Weekend Bonus) with opportunities for voluntary overtime during peak volumes.
